Default Vanda lamellata

First time flowering for me. Before I purchased this plant a couple of years ago, I had read that this species produces fragrant blooms. But these have been open for nearly a week and I haven't detected a scent yet. Still, they are pretty, so I can't complain too much.

This is actually the second spike that the plant has produced. The first one blasted, however, a couple of months ago. So I was happy that the plant decided to produce a second spike.

Steve,
The colorations on this one are fantastic! Congrats to you.

Mine is fragrant mostly early in the morning right after the sun warms it a bit...and it's very subtle; sweet, yet subtle.

Very nice. My favorite variety is the one that has yellow flowers with red splashes (not sure what its name is).

Thanks, everyone. David, I'm going to go sniff it this morning before I head to work. :-)

Hey Carl,
This one is var. boxalli...the one you described is var. remediosa. I think that they are both beautiful!
