Default Vanda leaf tips

I recently got my first 2 vanda's, both have missing ends of the leaf tips. The very tip of the leaves almost look chewed on. This seems to happen to alot of Vanda's. Does anybody have an explanation?

They tend to grow uneven and as a result don’t come to a point most of the time. If you could post some pictures then we could tell if it is normal or damage.

Something has chewed the tips judging from the first photo if they were growing outside could be about anything that munched them, it is just cosmetic . The normal tips end in an inverted V shape . Beautiful bloom I love it . Gin

Many Vandas do naturally have sort of ragged leaf tips, that's just how they grow.

You'll know when new leaves grow in if it's just how these leaves are or whether there was some damamge for sure.

Thats a good point. I'm very impatient and wanted an answer sooner. But honestly I didn't even think of that.
