I bought this as Ascda John De Biase 'Blue' a while ago and this is its first flowering. From the pics of JDB, I don't think the label is correct. I don't know now if its a seedlng or a M/clone. The color is difficult to capture, its more to the purple on the outer edges of the segments.
Any ideas on name accepted.

It is more spotted than tessellated.

Ted, its hard to tell. Depending on the light its in, one or the other is highlighted. Possibly more spots.
