Question Robert's delight short bloom time

My Roberts Delight is in it's second bloom. The first lasted two months!!!This year it's blooms only lasted a few weeks, maybe three at the most. Is there something that can be attributing to this? I am in florida and I bring it in at night when the temps are below 60 degrees. The daytime temps are a bit colder than last year. Also, when flowers turn withered and brown on the spike is it okay to prune it off? And if so, how short is can you take it? thanks for any help

sorry about the post previous to mine, it happens in the best of families!! lol
i am sure the low temps have had something to do with the way your vanda has bloomed this season, maybe next year will be more gentle for it....
you can cut the blooming stallk off as close to the stem of the plant as you want, there is no chance of reblooming a vanda blooming stem....

Default Robert's Delight short bloom time

Thanks for the advice. It MUST be the cold because even though I bring them in at night, the actual sun time is much shorter.
