This one has some epiweb in the basket as well though... But you get the picture!
I guess that the plant should be put in the basket as very young and then the new roots trying to escape should be poked back inside.

Also you can put the plant in a glass tube. But only the roots! Then you water it by filling the glass tube with water and leave it there for an hour. Then pour it out and let the roots dry up. The humidity will stay in the tube for a few hours then. Also a good thing if the humidity in the air is low.

I'm thinking about trying the glass tube with my Ascocentrum miniatum.
