Thanks Karen! I had it hanging in a basket about 6 inches below a bank of 4 T8s along with my other chids in baskets and my one mounted chid ( summer project-Leptotes unicolor)
I take then to the sink to spray/mist once a day. I've got several pots of phals and a huge Milt. Charles Fitch sitting beneath them (these pots are sitting on gravel in humidity trays --actually old cafeteria trays our church was throwing out
). I think the Ascos like the extra humidity from these other chids.
Average humidity is about 65%-- about as good as it gets with forced air heat! We keep the thermostat at 68 during the day and 62 at night.
I think the Asco. likes the extra-humidity from below and the extra heat from above.
I have an Asco Su-Fun Beauty too. No signs of a spike anytime soon.
Good luck with yours!
