Can't see why it should make any difference to be honest, both brunnea & tessellata are recognised stand alone species and are listed as such in the Kew List of Monocots.
As per here, some Judges & Judging decisions worry me as to their thinking. I wonder sometimes if those Judges can find their way home after the event.
