Ross, you should be able to bloom Sarcs easily in your area. I have Sarc. hartmanii that I am growing and blooming in Florida. I have had it for three years now. It sulks a little in the summer heat but survives ok. I read that one of the easiest is a cross between hartmanii and fitzgerald called Fitzhart. I have been considering ordering it from Santa Barbara Orchids.

Mine is fitzgeraldii and it seems to grow fantastically (several side shoots) but no blooms. It is next to the Dracs that are blooming right now.

Well Ron, you know what the secret to blooms is; more light and nix the fertilizer.
