Noid Vanda Possible V. TMA
I rate this Vanda among the top 2 in my collection. She's unscented but her blooms give off an incredible glow of colors.

I also love the color. I have a TMA but it hasn't bloomed yet. It sure gets to be a tall baby.

Thank you. I've never seen a TMA at an orchid show. We'll have to do a photo comparison when your's blooms. It's possible that mine could be a hybrid. This plant was given to me as a cutting 5 years ago and her first bloom was in January of this year. Her momma was enormous and had about 10 full sized blooming keikis. She was breathtakingly beautiful.

Junebug, if it is not TMA it is JVB (Josephine Van Brero). I use to have them both a few years ago and the flowers are very similar. Regardless of which one it is, they are both great bloomers and both have gorgeous flowers.

Thank you. I once thought JVB too. I've looked at every picture I could find on OB and the internet. The JVB looks like it has narrower petals with more yellow shading. The colors of my blooms are accurately depicted in the photo. There is a lot of pink with a touch of yellow shading on the lower petals. The yellow and pink give more of a peach effect. You never look at the flower and think yellow, however, there is a distinct yellow in her throat area. There is also distinctive pink/lavender veining. The back of the petals are lavender hued. These blooms really glow, sometimes so much that they're difficult to photograph. I believe JVB is part of the parentage of the TMA. It's possible that it's a different hybrid but it definitely has the JVB/TMA influence.
The cutting came from my ex-mother-in-law. She doesn't remember the name either but it was sold to her as being a "special orchid". She gave a rooted portion to her daughter. Her's is huge too. It was too large and sprawling for her to bring indoors this past winter. She had to throw a blanket over it for protection. Mine is growing about 2 1/2 feet above the top of her wooden basket. She's about 4' tall from the top of her leaves to the tip of her roots and has a 12" keiki on board. This is what she looks like. Her roots have begun to drag the ground so I need to find something more suitable to hang her from.

I turn green with envy at all the gorgeous Vanda photos on the OB. I've been trying to talk my mom into letting me grow some at her house, but she cringes at the idea that she'd have to care for them since there's no way I'm going over there everyday to water. Ho hum, someday I'll have a yard
