Ascda. Suksamran Sunlight 'Gold'
This golden orange colored Ascocenda is my favorite in my collection. It blooms twice per year. The attractive flowers will last for 2-3 weeks. The plant is a clone that was obtained several years ago from Carmela Orchids in Hawaii.

It's beautiful. So many flowers packed together, and such a cheerful color.

I just bought an ascda suksamran gold spot. I'm a little disapointed if the flowers only last 2 to 3 weeks. My Vanda lasts much longer than that.

In my case, the flowers for this Ascocenda start loosing its vigor after a couple of weeks and the older flowers will start folding and dropping off. The plant is a good bloomer though. It will bloom a couple of times per year. I had the plant in a few Shows where it won Best of Ascocenda.

That's nice to know! My Vanda will bloom 3 times a year, once it bloomed 4. It lasts for a long time, though I haven't timed it. Next time it blooms I will.
