Care to share your care details?
Also, mine has developed a secondary plant at its base. Advice?

My plant is grown in a wood basket that is hung under 50% shade. The plant (root portions) is watered daily and fertilized weekly (1 teaspoon per gallon). Note that this thread with the photo of the plant was made in July 2009, about 2 years ago. Today the plant is fairly large and recent blooms have not matched those in the past. The flowers of recent blooms have been smaller. The plant may have reached its peak and might be going downhill. I was hoping to have multiple blooming spikes at one time but that never happened. I'm hoping that my plant will develop a secondary plant like yours. If it does, I will leave the secondary plant on the parent plant and grow them together and maybe have both plants bloom at the same time.
