This was a gift a few years ago from my great friend Janie (LIJane)
Each time it blooms, it gets better! I really love the shape of this flower and how the lip really stands out!

Susanne, I went out and looked at my plant when I saw your post because I thought the name sounded familiar. I have the plant that I purchased from Maui Orchids as a seedling three years ago. It bloomed for the first time in June of 08 and it has bloomed six times since. It is currently in bloom now and just about stays in bloom. It seems that the blooms last for two months. My plant is not awarded though. The tag just reads Rhv. Hervert Kurihara Pink. Enjoy your many blooms yet to come.
