Wow! I think that's the bluest one I've seen, which would explain the blue ribbon around it's neck.

Don, that is exactly what I want. The problem with ordering it on line is I don't know how blue it is until I get it and it blooms. I would like to find one in bloom so I know what I'm getting. Maybe I should give up on my dream of a dark blue one.

About a month ago, I ordered a Darwinara Charm 'Blue Star' X Tamakongo, pictured as blue, advertised as blue, and it arrived in bloom, totally white. It's pretty, but not what I wanted. Am I just being a fussy old lady??????

Not fussy at all. You deserve to get what you want and pay for. I agree seeing is the best way to get what you want but at the time I didn't know there would be a difference. I just lucked out. But don't give up, if I see one at a show I'll let you know. Did you try RF Fuks?

you're certainly not beeing flussy
It's always desapointing when you have been dreaming and sometimes waiting a long time to see a bloom and it doesn"t look a bit like the picture you've seen of it! I would say sometimes the temperatures can influence the colours of the bloom....slightly...or so I was told...

Gorgeous color on your two Jasen!
My pine river pink is also very prolific...it blooms 2-4 times a year also, but I only ever get one spike on it.
