The many faces of Vanda tricolor

This one is Vanda tricolor with noticeably different labellum form than suavis variant. Also very fragrant before mid afternoon with scent of vanilla. Vanda tricolor is mostly found in mountainous region of West Java while Vanda suavis can also be found in Bali and Flores island.

Could you tell me how do you grow Vanda tricolor?I got a keiki from my friend and is like 7 inches tall,how big it has to be to bloom?

Vanda Tricolor come from java island in Indonesia,grow in midlle to high land. in the branch of tree and can get full sun. Vanda tricolor can bloom from 30 cm. i never see vanda tricolor bloom in lowland. minimum 300 dpl and above can bloom.

This is the very one I've been trying to find for years. I bought a different tricolor by accident/hoping for the best. Maybe it will be the one I want, maybe not. It wasn't in bloom when I bought it, and it is still not at blooming size. Fingers crossed! Yours is GORGEOUS!
