absolutely unbelievable. I am interested in finding this plant. can you give some info on how you grow this plant. I am in South Fl, and mostly grow outdoors under a screened Lanai cage. My vandas grow in full sun in this location. Any advice you can share with me will be greatly appreciated. thanks Brookpoint

Hey Brookpoint,
I grow this plant just like my vandas...in fact right along with them. My location is the same as yours, only another 150, give or take, miles south of you. In a screened lanai area by my pool. I water daily and fertilize weekly all year long. I bought mine at RF Orchids about 4 years ago. I don't know if they still have them, but you might want to check.
I hope this helps, David

David, thanks for all the info, apparently we do grow identically., My vandas do well, I also water daily in the summer and fertilize weekly about every other watering, all my vamdas are living in my guest bathroom, at the moment. Water in the tub for humidity, and good light with some sun. will this cold weather please go away....My house is invaded with chids. I do love them, but lmy house is not equipped for indoor growing. They are everwhere...

David, oh David! What have you done here? Why did you almost get rid of, didn't it bloom last year? I don't have any Aerides but love this one. Such a fine specimen, too bad about the judging.....it's always about timing, eh?
