David, you did it again. Must be a great feeling getting awards as often as you do. You deserve every one of them. Congratulations.

I'm so envious right now that it's hard for me to think straight. But I'll give it a shot anyway... David, congratulations. Those plants look phenomenal. I especially like the tessellata and amoena. How big's the tessellata (the plant, that is, not the blooms)?

Molly,
I fertilize once a week all year long with Dyna-Gro liquid 7-9-5 mixed at 1/2 teaspoon per gallon, with a little Superthrive added. They do seem to like it.

Rastafouni...I don't know if it's a secret...I don't think it is. Aside from the fertilizer I mentioned above, I water every day, early in teh morning...provide between 50% and 65% sunlight, and I protect them if the temperatures drop below 50 in the winter time here. I also spray fungicide about once every 3 months as a preventative measure. That's it in a nutshell.

Steve...the plant is actually quite small...about 10-12 inches tall with a 6-8 inch leaf span. I bought it from RF Orchids. When I was there a few weeks ago, they still had a few hanging in their green house.

Hi Dave
I am a fan of your divas. So beautiful, so trim and healthy looking. And they sing!
I am curious, if you care to share this. Is the surname Scully realted to the people of Jones & Scully fame? It brings back fond memories of receiving their catalogues, and walking home from the Philadelphia Flower show one year with some of the display orchids they did not want to haul back to Fla.
