Sederia japonica - Thanks Ross :)
Last month, Ross and his wife came to visit me while they were here in Florida. We had a great day and this plant was given to me, in full bud, as a gift.
The first bud opened 3 days ago but today was the first day I detected any fragrance
The plant is so healthy and beautiful...my thanks again, Ross

It's really beautiful. I lost mine a couple of months ago and I miss it, especially the fragrance.

It's beautiful! It was very kind of Ross to give you such a nice looking plant.

I forgot to mention in my original post that just one week prior to Ross and Dottie visiting, I had been watching one of my own Seds with it's 3 buds...all blasted a few days before this one arrived. Ross handing this to me was a super-nice surprise!

I just believe an orchid should be happy and when it wasn't happy at my house, I thought it might be the snow! Seriously, I have found that for me the Sederia grows better in a pot than mounted (I think it gets too dry here, even with daily dunkings.)
