As you can see it's the high season of Aerides in Thailand right now. Aerides houlettiana, flabellata and soon others !

The flowers of this species are very different from those of traditional aerides but unfortunately my only plant was killed last year.

Yes pheli, agree, this specie is very different from others Aerides. It is really look close to Vanda flowers in fact.
