Aerides Houlletiana - Vase?

Hi,

I've had this orchid for about 10 months now, it's doing alright but not as well as I would like or as well as my other Vanda. I keep my other vanda in a glass vase, is it possible to do this to the aerides?

At the moment it is in bark chips and I'm trying to keep of nicely humid, but it is hard when I can't see the roots. Is there anything else I can do?

Hi Yaffle,
I grow mine just like my vandas, although my culture is different from yours...mine hang in baskets.

I would think that it would do well using the same vase method you use for your vanda. Just my worth. I hope it helps.
