nice stuff you got there. i also sometimes buy orchids from giant (malaysian equivalent to tesco & carrefour - which we also have here). they sell it more expensive, about rm17 per pot (USD4.5) than nurseries - rm12 (USD3.2). but i don't care if they carry a healthy and good looking flower

Nichole, I believe that what Home Depot has available is sort of what is available to them locally. I think the plant that Jasen purchased was one that was grown by Sun Bult Company, a Florida grower, who supplies the big box stores in Florida. If you can be fortunate enough to get them when they are fresh, they have some very interesting varieties but you must be cautious because they can hang on those racks for weeks without a drop of water.
