Ascocenda who ???

Have been waitng for 2 years for this to flower and hooray I have a spike. The flowers start opening and I get it off the hanger to take a pic or two and from what I have been able to establish is that its been attacked by Thrips, found 2 or 3 when started looking. Haven't had thrips for years. This shows some of the damage but was the best flower to photograph.
Its supposed to be Ascda Yip Sum Wah but the flower shape and color is wrong, to me anyway, any other suggestions welcome.

Thrips... yuck. Hopefully you caught the problem early. Looks and sounds as though you did.
