woohooo!! got a renanthera @fairchild tropical gardens!

Got my second renanthera from Motes Orchids at Fairchild tropical gardens!! It's a beautiful rich red with one long spike. He had only 2 on his table and I just had to have it!!

Wish me luck.....now, how do I not kill it?

im glad you bought it. was it in bloom? i love renantheras too. i was at the show and did not see any.

Yes! It's a beautiful true RED. It has one long spike and it's about a foot tall. At least five people stopped me on my way out, saying, "Oh,you bought the Renanthera." Yes..................I did!! (grin) He had 2, I bought the smaller one, because I already pre-ordered some plants for the redlands show. Otherwise I would have bought the taller plant.

It's called Renanthera Bartholomew Motes. I have the Aranthera Anne Black as well.
