Thanks guys & gals! I wasn't expecting this much of a response on this one! I bought it primarily as an experimental S/H plant. It was in pretty bad shape when I got it. Hadn't been watered in who knows how long. I left it in it's original mix until I started seeing new root growth then transfered it to S/H. Initially it struggled a bit, but once the new roots took hold it really took off. It's sending up a very robust looking new growth in addition to blooming, so I'd say this was a successful experiment. I've had difficulties getting plants from the Onc alliance to bloom in the past so thought perhaps S/H might be the answer. I moved a Colm. Wildcat 'Carmela' to S/H about the same time and it never missed a beat. Bloomed like crazy Dec - Jan. No more pleated leaves on my Oncs anymore! Yay!
