Looks like it has more purple/blue than it does "gold". I see only a little around the edges. However, it is a nice Ascda. and will have more blooms the next time around.

Although I posted on the other thread, I had to show you all. The flowers are REALLY ORANGE with spots.

Since my previous camera was 10-years-old with 2 mp, it did not show the color at all.

Naoki - It's just beautiful. Reminds of a ripened peach. Love those rosey spotted cheeks! Thanks for sharing. Vanda family are my favorites but I can't have them all.....tho I wish I could.

It's beautiful, Naoki. As you know, I'm also a Vanda lover.

Because of foot surgery, I was not able to walk steps to get downstairs to my orchids for a few days. Yesterday I, very carefully, went down there. I found two Vandas forming buds. I learned 'A watched pot never boils'. Now for the long wait.

If I remember correctly, you asked me if my Blue Tahourdin had any fragrance. I told you no, now after about 10 days it has a fragrance. It is not one that I would say, buy one because of the fragrance, but it is pleasant, not overpowering.

I adopted a Blue Tahourdin upon visitng Home & Garden show last week. I think my other Vandas like it, too.
