Default Rhynchostylis gigantea, alba and red varieties

Here are 2 more of the gigantea's that decided to bloom for me this year...I have 2 others that have been hiding out and denying me flowers again!
They put off such a heavy perfume that it can sometimes knock you over, but in a good way. Not like the Bulb echinolabium that lurks near them.

These are great!! The white giganteas are just one the most pristine whites in the orchid world. Great growing!

Laura, they are so beautiful. I wish I could smell them.

I have a couple of them but I'm afraid it will be a long time before they bloom. Do you give yours high light?

I grow these two also. I am able to get the red in blooms easily, but my white never bloomed, although both are the same size. Congrats, Laura!

Wow! Great blooms! I like the dark one best. It makes me picture a black pearl sitting in a glass of red wine.

My white blooms every year. This year I only got one spike...Every other year I've gotten 3 spikes on it, so it was a bit of a let down this year
