Well I went to a friends Shade house this afternoon to take a few photos Very nice place he has. The owner is an old man about 78 years old One of the old school.

Firstly This is my favourite, a Vandopsis.
A cross between Ascocenda, Vanda and Rhyncostilis. It's absolutely huge.

Minor correction, a Vandopsis is a stand alone species, the cross you quote = Vascostylis.
The plants in the house look fantastic the Rhynchostylis are delightful and have been growing for a long time to achieve that quality.

I'm still having a few problems with the translation, and also i think the old fella might have been talking to my wife at the same time and i got it mixed up.

Yes, you are right.... He has a LOT of old Orchids, and they are like a fine wine....gets better with age
