Booming Vanda
I have waited quite long to be able to say it "Yes we can bloom vandas in the home IN CANADA" . Actually I mixed up the tags, but since I only bought 2 that day back in May; has to be either Ascda. Princess Mikassa Pink or Vanda Robert's Delight. At this point, don't really care about the correct name... only that I actually did it. May not be the most spectacular bloom..only 3 flowers, but I plan to crow just the same.

It's definetely V. Robert's Delight since Ascd. Princess Mikasa 'Pink' has pink flowers. I guess I had an answer to my question after all.

Take it anyway you get it. Kudos to you for getting it to bloom in the first place as they are normally warm growers. I like cyms but don't have much luck with them. Isn't it funny those in cold climates want to grow warm growers and those in warm climates like those that grow better in the cooler climate. Go figure!?

Don, is it because we always want what we can't have?
Congrats for bring this beauty into bloom. I grow in my basement and do a little dance whenever I bring one into bloom. I'm expecting a new baby blossom now. I watch it every day to make sure it will not blast, or become a kiki???????

I would go for the Ascda Princess Mikassa also, nothing like V.Roberts Delight.

Good for you Bellini Girls and I'm joining in the crowing too.

Great job! It is a beauty for sure! I would vote for Princess Mikasa pink too, I dont think it looks like Robert's delight either. Either way, great job!!!!
