Default Large Vanda

This is not a very good picture because I was aiming upward into the light. I could not take the plant down to film it because it is rooted to the two by fours. It is a beautiful lavender blue that blooms multiple times per year. The flowers are 5 1/2" natural spread. You can see how large they are when you compare them to the ascocenda underneath it. I purchased the plant in 1990 and this is a keiki of the original plant that has grown very large with three blooming size keikis. It is a big space hog but I intend to keep it. Oh, the name: Vanda Keeree.

I have GOT to move to Florida! Wonderful Vanda! I think taking the picture pointing at the light was a good thing. It's not washed out and it really shows off the tessellation.

That is a beauty I love the color one day I hope to have my vanda bloom. Right now I would just like to try to remember what the bloom looked like when we brought it back from Hawaii in 2006

Nice one Jerry. It does make the ascda look like a midget. Beautiful colors even with the light behind it.
