Right! I wasn't able to empty the dishwasher last night because I have chid's in the cupboards! They're all over....I've been overtaken by these critters. I can't wait to bring them all back out and to their respective places! I'm going nutzzzzz!
P.S. You didn't tick me off during those debates, Swamper. I, personally enjoyed that thread, reading everyone's views and finding out what everyone felt so passionate about. But I can't remember now what everyone said, then.

P.S. Thanks for forgetting

I know my guys would probably be OK outside but decided not to chance it . They all came inside. Bath tub is full, another bathroom is full and plant stands in several rooms. I can still walk around but will wait till Sat. when temps are supposed to get back to lows of 50s' then rearrange everybody again. I had several in bud that the wind would have gotten. Lost one bud spike last week to the wind. BooHoo and it was a Schom spike that I was so waiting for.

Sorry to hear about your lost bud spike Lorraine. Mine are protected from the wind by a 6'wood fence but the cold last nite was going to be in the upper 30's and although they would probably have been ok, ...well you already know.
I keep looking at the ones in the trees and they sure are troopers man, hangin in there like that. Im proud of them

So far so good. I was told that I would have to wait close to a week to see if there was any damage done. At least on the leaves, blooms you see blasts a little sooner. This one at the beginning of this thread still looks strong.

Finally everybody got put back outside Friday afternoon. Thank goodness for warmer temps. I probably could have left most outside but it was easier to just wheel in the stands. It'll take me a few more days to get them rearranged in all the right places but it has given me a chance to inspect each one. Repotted a couple that were not too happy and found a few pests. So I tagged those with a white dot and will keep a special check on those guys. Just to be sure they all got sprayed.
I was at the Ft. Lauderdale show last weekend and 4 new chids followed me home ... Psychopsis Papilio 'Kraneriana' (3 spikes), Onc Papillio x Kalihi (1 spike), C Walkeriana var alba 'Pendetive AM/AOS x C Ruth Gee 'Willikers' HCC/AOS and I found a BLC Copper Queen with 2 spikes and buds with blooms Had to make room. A friend left me a pot with buds on it . Of course it's a NOID and a beauty. Then another friend gave me 3 she didnt want to fool around with. So I spent last night and today cleaning them up and repotting. Making more room. I'm running out of room!!!

Enough, enough about the weather. Back to the original thread.....nice color, very defined veining, it's really nice. You guys in the deep, deep, south are lucky to have them hanging on the trees. I would love to do the same but.......too much cold. Here in So Ga we went down into the teens and I only have a small 1500 watt electric heater and the g/h went to 46. I can't add more because no direct wiring only an extension cord. Am i now on the weather????

Great looking vanda! I love it. I am hoping to mount smoe on trees one day when I am more settled, right now they just hang, but from trees. That is close, right? Hehehe... Anyway, I am glad that it doesn't seem to have been affected by the cold!

Update on this Vanda
I think it did very well after the last front. I see no damage done at all. Oh BTW it is a noid though I contacted Mike at R.F. Orchids and sent them a pic to see if they can tell me what it is. So I should be able to give it its name back. How do you guys see it?
