It's been 5 long years since I received this Vanda as a cutting. This is her first bloom.

Thank you Rosie. Her blooms are 3 1/4" from side to side and from top to bottom.

I haven't been able to find a photo of a JVB on the net. My research capabilities are limited but I did find one photo from an old post on the Miami Herald of a Vanda TMA (V. sanderiana x V. Josephine van Brero). The photo could not be enlarged but it looked ever so much like mine. I found one more reference to the V. TMA but there was no photo posted on the site. Most of the JVB crosses that look similar to mine are described as having a rose colored lip, but this girl has a deep rust colored lip with freckles on it. Her identity will more than likely remain a mystery, but no matter...I'm just gosh darned happy that she finally bloomed. I'm too old to do cartwheels so this will have to suffice.
