Euanthe sanderiana var alba

This is my favorite vandaceous orchid , otherwise known as Vanda sanderiana var alba. It isn't quite finished opening, but here's some pics. I have the "type" sanderiana too, but it's spike is just starting, so it will be a few weeks.

Thank you all....I couldn't wait for this one to open, I bought it last year, right after it finished blooming. So I didn't get to see the blooms. This is the first time I've seen it bloom! I think I'm going to cross one of the flowers with some V. coerulea pollen that I saved.

Goes with out saying that it is also one of my favorites. Been looking for one for some time now and the only one I saw was too much for my pocket. Maybe one day I'll find a trade or keiki or what ever!
