It's really easy, go for it.
It seems like deflasking would be a project better started at the onset of spring, but I've already been lurking for them on e-bay.

Most of my existing plants are growing well and taking up more space than I'd anticipated. Hopefully I can convince my hubby or son to build a shade structure for me. I've mentioned it to them but their not very enthusiastic at this point. They'd rather spend their time golfing, fishing, and hunting. Maybe they'll realize I'm serious when I buy the materials and begin digging the post holes myself. I'm assuming at that point (wanting to take credit and not wishing to be outdone by a women) they'll pitch in and help. Then I can move my mature plants outside and use my back porch to raise the immature ones.

Sounds like a plan to me. What do ya think?

Or...you could just stop cooking, that's one of two ways to get me to do anything around here.

Nice, won't it be easier if you just wash off the medium and not soak the plants? These orchids need to find their mycorria fungi before they grow up so don't plant them in an sterile environment.
