Hi Mojomick....they are both beautiful vandas...which is my favorite genre. You did a great job on posting the pics...and on growing a couple of beauties.
I'm always impressed by folks who can grow vandas up north. Way to go! :bowing |
Was trying to make up my mind what to add to my beginner's collection. Now I know I just must have a couple of Vandas. they are so smart and what lovely colours.
I believe they are not too difficult to care for too. |
Hi Clare,
I certainly don't want to discourage you, but vandas are considered to be an intermediate to advanced plant in terms of care and culture. What I am trying to say is if you go this route, be prepared to do a little extra labor of love for your chids...it is well worth it! Good luck on your growing collection. :D |
:) Thank you for your advice. I've already got some Cymbidiums, beautiful and easy to care for, and some very beautiful Phalinopsis, also very easy to care for just need to keep an on them and keep them out of draughts, A very striking Zytopetalum, think I'll get a few more of these as they are quite striking when in flower(flowers are quite 'wierd' in shape and colour). Have some seedlings of Miltoniopsis, Calanthe ,the latter is very young and small and already in spike with Buds::D can't wait! But will wait and enjoy the waiting, there is so much to learn and to know bye for now..:waving clare
