Ascda. (V. Arjuna x Ascda. John De Biase)
Here are a couple of photos of an unregistered hybrid, Ascocenda (V. Arjuna x Ascda. John De Biase).
It is a small plant, but blooms frequently...plus it has a mild, sweet, spice-like fragrance. Enjoy!

Hey David! I saw a similar one at Motes booth at the Bonnet House show today. I bought a V Arjuna 'Wink' HCC/AOS in bloom from him. It really does smell nice. I guess ours are cousins! This pic is with flash so the color is off. It is actually more purple.

Hi Susie...does this make us cousins-in-laws?
Your Arjuna is fantastic...it will grow like a weed...and bloom frequently for you! I have a clone of this same plant...and Roly does too, by the way.

OH, I LIKE IT. It is so unusual looking, especially with the touch of purple. How lucky you are, being able to have all this beauty in your back yard. Makes me wish I lived in Florida.
I just got out of a nice warm bed and walked into the orchid room. Brrr 65 degrees, humidity 80% and nothing but a deep white blanket out the window. I'm home bound for the day...... until the road gets plowed.
Susie, where are your other pictures of the Bonnet House show? I've been watching for them.
Marilyn

Thanks everyone for your comments!
Jenn...this was a keiki off of a very large plant that I bought from Motes Orchids...if I see another one like it the next time I'm there are you really interested in it?

Most definitely! I really love this one. I always appreciate you for keeping me in mind. If you come across one, just let me know. Although you might have to babysit it for me for a little while until I can come get it!
