There are not many places that carry the alba. amorchids is the only one I could find.

I bought 1 from them a month ago. Not cheap but the plant was in good shape and the packaging was excellent.

Orchid stuff, Rolando!! Go figure why! I grow more or less 30 Vandas, mostly hybrids, but a few species too (sanderiana, coerulea, denisoniana and tricolor). I've been able to make them all flower, except for sanderiana. I suspect that my specific plant is problematic. A friend of mine that I encouraged to acquire a plant of sanderiana did it and already had his first blooms and that in not so suitable conditions for it. So, the thing is to buy another and see what happens!

Hey Roly, congratulations. That is one of my favs. The alba is a great choice too. Where did you get yours? IS it one with the huge flowers or medium sized?

Great flowers, the sanderiana's. It's on my wish list and now that I've seen the alba I really like to have one. Great orchid, I enjoyed seeing your pics.

Hi Rolando,
Were the flowers big - 10 to 12 cm accross like I read on the internet? Mine, blooming the first time a few week ago, only 9cm max.

Good job, Rolondo...I like the three-toned coloration of this one, it's kind of original. Mine is budding right now, it should start opening in a week or two. It's about a thirty inch plant, so it should have some pretty big flowers...they were 4"-5" across, last year. Nice pics, Roly!
