The V. sanderiana thread...
Hey Folks,
I thought that I'd make a thread for those who grow V. sanderiana to post photos of their beauties while it is sanderiana bloom season.
It would be really cool to see the differences that these fabulous vandas produce in their flowers.
Here is a few photos of mine, which bloomed for its first time this fall. It has four spikes! Oh, and I won the species gold ribbon award with it at the November meeting of my local orchid society. Enjoy.

David, that is a gorgeous V. sanderiana with 4 spikes. It must be happy. It is on my "must-have" list.

Hey Rolando...my other sanderiana (alba) did not produce any flowers, so you've got me on that one. And by the way, you should post a photo anyway. This was not meant to be a competition, just a place for anyone to share sanderiana pics. I hope to see one from you.

Well I hadn't seen this thread when I posted my pics so here is a link to my thread rather than having to upload pics again. http://www.orchidboard.com/community...ana-bloom.html

Of course it isn't a competition! It's all about beauty and they are all beautiful in one way or another!

Jimjim,
I love the colors on yours! The gold and mohagony lateral sepals are very nice.
