Ascda. Leenachai x V. Blitz's Heartthrob
Hello! I have been waiting and waiting to get enough pics together to post this beauty! I am so happy with her! Consequently, I have taken a ton of pictures...
This particular vanda was purchased from the annual Central Florida Orchid Society Auction back on September 2, 2008. So, I probably only had it for a little over a month before it started to spike! Although the plant is very large, I can't see any previous spike remnants down in between the leaves, so this may be its first blooming. Anyway, it is my first pink, so I am thrilled with it. I hope you all enjoy too!

These are the rest of the pics. The very last one shows the whole plant....about 3-4 feet of roots!

Jenn, she is FANTASTIC. So healthy looking and I love the color.....and the roots. The roots of vandacious plants always fascinate me.
Which parent gave her the frilly edges on the petals? The frills are gorgeous.
Be very proud of her, she deserves your pride.

Thanks everyone!
Swamper, this is the "pink" orchid I was mentioning in previous posts! I am very happy with her.
Marilyn, I really do not know much about either parent. I don't have one of either, so I am not sure who gave her the frilly edges. I really like them too, and it is my first one like this. Most of mine have smooth edges. Whomever had her before me must have take very good care of her to establish those beautiful roots. I too am fascinated with them and even purchased a cute little succulent plant the looked like vanda roots for me. I will have to take a pic one day.
Wanda, I agree, she is very photogenic! Thanks!
