I have an ascocenda that is about 8 inches tall and 4-5 inches wide. Within the last 3-4 weeks it suddenly started losing it's lower leaves. I'm doing nothing differently than in the past. I water it daily and feed it spring-summer every 2 weeks with urea free 20-10-20 fert. (1 tsp). In the Fall and winter I feed it the same but only monthly. Might someone have an answer to my dilemma? Best advice is to check if it is in a draft or geing any nightime drip from the roof. Vandas and to a slightly lesser degree Ascocendas like absolutely uniform conditions. Any fluctuation - like a cold draft - typically results in leaf drop.

Hope that helps, Eric

Eric, I forgot to mention that I find this site so much more helpful than a couple I frequent. Again thank you. Lee
