Default Tuberolabium (Saccolabium) kotense

Not an orchid typically associated with the typical Angaecoides, but one never-the-less. Has all the correct parts by some scientific circles. Anyways, this has been a difficult road trip. I have been working with this guy for over two years trying to convince him to bloom and giving all sorts of special treats like fertilizer, high moisture, constant breeze, etc. I think adding a second fan may have done it? Or was it the change in background music? Who's to know. Anyways, before you ask, yes it is mildly fragrant. Kinda a fruity smell, maybe or something else. Very pleasant, but I can't associate it with anything else in my collection - certainly not the "heady" Cischweinfia fragrance.

I appologize for the colors (I am having my workstation rebuilt and am using a laptop right now with totally no control over colors.) The color I see on the laptop screen for the stripes in the throat are way too blue. They should be magenta. Hopefully, that's what you see. I really miss my color-calibrated monitor and workstation

Here is one of the spikes fully open.

Hopefully the closeup shows better color - I edited it.

Thanks for looking.
