David, I wish I could post the picture. My camera died on me. Orchids or Camera? I choose "orchids."

Default The camera is now fixed.

So, as I promised, I am posting pictures of those seedlings: V. Pure Wax and Ascda. Fat Tuesday.

Hi Naoki,

Sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you...I was away since last Friday. In any case, I have done a little research, and in looking at your seedlings here...very healthy looking I'll add...my guess is that you are going to need some patience for these guys.

The V. Pure's Wax is a large flowered Vanda, and will probably take at least 3 to 4 if not more years than that to bloom. I am also considering your growing location in my assessment, and even if you are growing in a greenhouse, the winter days are short enough to hamper very quick development of a blooming size plant.

Your Ascda. Fat Tuesday may take 2 to 3 years, and in any case should bloom sooner than the Vanda.

Hopefully I am wrong, and your plants bloom sooner than I predict...only time will tell.

Looking at the pics now, I agree with David. The Pure's Wax has a long way to go. The Fat Tuesday could, as the pic I posted, freak out and spike much earlier but as David said, 3 - 4 years and 2 - 3 years.
