Default Galeandra baueri

Can't take credit for this one, picked it up yesterday at the Tampa show.

Smells faintly of vanilla

Sometimes the smaller shows are better. I enjoyed the last show ,which was tiny compared to the redland show which was huge, a lot more. Anyway glad you had a great time.

Lovely plant, Susanne. Unfortunately we don't see many of these around here. Perhaps more difficult to grow and that's why??

Oooh...Sue, that's lovely! Love the color fade on the lip! What a sweet little cutie. Nice score.

I spent some time last night looking at other photos of this plant and found that the color scheme is much more vibrant...more purple on the lip and yellow in the "fans" at the top. I'm assuming this one has been in bloom for a while and what we're seeing is the fadeout.

Either way, I was thrilled to find it...AFTER I was "done"! Hahahahahaha
