That's a beauty. I really like Bollea's, and recently got a coelestis and a lawrenceana. Hope mine can do as well as yours. thanks for sharing.

Patricia Harding's new book on the Huntleya Alliance - which includes Bollea - is now in print and will be sold by Timber Press starting next month.

Hi ED

I have a Lawrenciana and a Coelestis too, and a Pescatorea Lamellosa (very similillar) they're growing well, I hope the next year they bloom... I have the bollea Ecuadorana and the Ecuadorana blue... they're amazing, but I think the best is this Bollea Hirtzii!!!

A very unusual looking and beautiful flower. It looks like the texture is very heavy.
