Hi all, this is a pic of Rhy Herbert Kurihara that I had years ago. It used to flower 3 or 4 times a year for me in coolish conditions. I would like to get a piece back but no=one seems to have it. Any Aussies in the forum, if they know where it can be found or have a spare piece could you let me know please.
The news is Great, I have had a reply from a nursery that has a plant all ready to send to me.
Its not the best of all but it just grows and flowers great.
If anyone o/seas finds a plant of it, get it, you shouldn't be disappointed.
I'm glad that you found what you were looking for...and I think it would make a beautiful addition to my collection. Thanks for the recommendation...it's on my wish list.
[QUOTE=cb977;159124]Roy, I have this one and it is an absolute beauty!
I saw this one and read a few of the post. I found the plant to be semi compact. It will grow tall over the years.
The flower count on the one in the pic is way down. I have had 10 - 12 flowers per spike. It does drop flower count at various time thru the year to 7 or 8 but thats was in the cool conditions I had at the time. With warmth the flower count should be min 8.
