V Sansai Blue 'Acker's Pride' FCC/AOS
I bought this as a gift for my husband about four years ago. Even though he's an avid gardener in his own right, I get to take care of it for him.
Enjoy!

I love this plant! I think it's ver nearly the same one I have at my mom's house. She can't get orchids to do anything (and sh lives in Jamaica), so I suspect that I won't ever see it flower again

Boy that was a sneaky ploy, "for my husband". You women have all kinds of tricks up your sleeves. Kidding aside it is a beautiful blue. Sansai in Japanese means "teacher"-----just thought you might like to know.

LOL!
I had taken my husband to an orchid show and he absolutely flipped over one of the vandas he saw there, so, later, I got him one. To this day, he calls it "his orchid" ... and it is! Even though he doesn't take care of it, he watches over it like a hawk! It kind of puts a little pressure on me to make sure it blooms for him every year, but I'm not complaining.
