V. tessellata
Here are a couple of photos of one of my V. tessellata plants. It is a cross between two variations of V. tessellata; (Bre x Roxb.)
If someone knows more about these variations, information would be welcome.  |

Very nice. Don't know about the varieties, but V. tessellata's one of my favorite species. No matter what the flowers look like from one variety to the next, all of the ones I've seen have shared the same magnificent perfume. How big are your plants?

Hey Steve,
This one is about 16 inches tall, not counting the root growth.  It has three growing fans. It was twice this height last summer when I cut off the top to share it with a friend. I retained the bottom portion, and all three of the new growths are already blooming. 
My other one is mounted on a tree fern plaque, and is about 10 inches tall. The flowers are a little larger and much more fragrant than on this one. I don't have pics of it for comparison...but maybe someday I will.  |

That's a Vanda? Reminds me of Florida's Encyclia tampensis in a way. This is definitely one I want to look into further.

Dear David,
I don't think those are varieties - I think they are garbled authors. "Bre" I think is R. Brown who described Vanda roxburghii, a synonym of V, tessellata. "Roxb" is the author of Epidendum tessellata, the basis for V. tessellata.
It doesn't matter really. Your plant is classic V. tessellata with sharp pointed lip sidelobes.
