Default V.coerulea x Ascda Tubtim Velvet

I've had this one for about 4 yrs. This is the second bloom this year. I't almost completely open. I'll post more pics when it does. It's not my fav. but I sorta love it too.
These pics were taken thru a 2 day period Oct 2 and 3. Hopefully it stops raining today when I can take the next pic.

Very nice Swamper. Wish mine would do that. My stubborn Vanda still won't bloom. It has 4 little spikes now and I just found a small keiki that has popped out at the base of the plant. Maybe the keiki production is slowing down the spike growth. It began producing spikes towards the end of July. They get about 1/2" long and stop growing. It's very frustrating.

Yeah that's odd since you are giving it everything it wants and needs as far as I know. I guess it's still very young?

She was rec'd as a cutting 4 years ago and has been growing well for 3 years. Let's see 4 years and 4 spikes...hmmmm...maybe she'll make up for it sometime this year.

Swamper....it's beautiful!

Every time I see a vandaceous cross with Tubtim Velvet in it, I always give a sigh of appreciation. I'm looking forward to your next photo installment.

Junebug...if it's any consolation to you, I had a vanda plant that held onto its 2 little nubins for over a year...I am finally being rewarded...in the past few weeks, those 2 plus 2 new ones have grown out to be about 2 inches long! This gives me hope for your plant too...it just needs a little more time before giving you a big show! I'll be sure to post pics of mine when it blooms...maybe in another 4 to 6 weeks.
