I drive a Toyota Highlander, and I was able to lay the large Vanda down diagonally in the back with the business end (spike) proped up over the back seat with a blanket and a roll of bubble wrap beneath it for support. It was a tight fit, but it worked.
Congratulations!!!!! It's understandable why you won the awards, they both are beautiful and well grown. I also wondered how you managed to transport them. I would be so concerned that they would be damaged.
I love all vandas, but I really like the Christensonia vietnamica. It is so unusual. Can I throw a penny into the lip and make a wish? I wish for a Christensonia vietnamica of my very own.

Marylyn,
I got my Chritensoniana at RF Orchids in Homestead a couple of years ago. They do a thriving Intenet business, and still have them available on their website. My plant blooms several times during the summer months (this year a total of 5 spikes). Here is a link to the RF website: RF Orchids
