Hi Janet,
Here's my 2 cents.
Everyone on the OB knows that I am very enthusiastic about growing vandas in vases.
Here's my lastest rescue:





This is a V Sansai Blue, it has been in a vase for 2 weeks. It came with 2 good and one dead root. I think it is going to make it!

The vase really helps to maintain humidity and makes watering very easy.

where is the water level in the vase. tell me what you do I would like to try it. Is it in the house at a sunny wimdow? would love all the details. thanks Bett

Yes, I am still around, sorry to say the vanda is not. I actually had another vanda that did the same thing. This time I managed to save it. I added the spag to the basket for the winter, then, in the spring, it began to put out new roots. I am happy to say that one is going to make it. Guess I will have to find another Pachara Delight.
