Thanks Paul. I know I read it somewhere but couldn't find it back. I like to have that info on my record sheet.

Thanks again for the info.

Ross just invited me to go to the Chicage Festival, There goes the money I had hoped to put toward OrchidWiz.

That wasn't difficult. I voted for Chicago. OrchidWiz can wait a little longer.

Well if your interested in just getting by until you save up for Orchid Wiz there is the AOS version, AQ Plus. Its not user friendly and generally a hatefull little program but the info is there and a subscription is $50, though if I were you I would spend my $50 on a really nice species orchid in Chicago!

Im buying Orchid Wiz with about 15 other people from the Toronto Judging center and we're getting a nice group discount but until then im stuck with AQ Plus

I was so glad to see the parentage on Ascofinetia Lionstar. I have a beauty blooming on the back porch, a regular reliable bloomer.

You can look up parentage for free online using the RHS Orchid Register.
The International Orchid Register / RHS Gardening

Strangely, Lionstar doesn't seem to be registered there.

Ah, that's because they have it registered as Lion Star
The International Orchid Register / RHS Gardening
and it seems to have been lumped into Vanda in the taxonomy wars...!

(they've lumped both Neofinetia and Ascocentrum into Vanda).
