Smile The evolution of a vanda spike!

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to share some pictures of my first vanda blooms. This is the first time one of my vanda's has bloomed for me. I am so excited about her. The tag identifying this orchid fell off when I moved, maybe someone can help me identify this beauty!

Below is a link to a slideshow I created. Enjoy!!

That slideshow was a really neat idea, I loved it! And it's a very pretty vanda too.

Hi Mindy,

Congrats on your first Vanda spike and blooms! way to go. Like Roy, I was thinking that it might be Ascda Princess Mikasa 'Pink', but there are others that look similar, such as V. Pachara Delight.

Here is a link for a photo of Ascda Princess Mikasa 'Pink': Ascda Princess Mikasa 'Pink'

I can't say for certain if one of these matches your's, but you can take a closer examination to see for yourself.

In any case, you plant is well grown and beautiful!

this, for me, is a wonderful sequence. Most the orchids I grow, I have never seen their budding-blossoming sequence. You helped me a lot regarding Vandas. Thanks
Nick

What a beautiful slide show! and gorgeous plant. I have two Vandas - no blooms yet but this gives me hope.
